Are you heading to Orlando with kids and looking for the best Orlando family hotel with a water park? There are many hotels with water parks in Orlando since this is one of the few places in the United States where you can swim in the winter months. As locals, we have stayed at many Orlando water park hotels and are happy to share our findings with you.

Keep in mind that some of these allow you to purchase a day pass to use the pool, so you don’t actually have to be an overnight guest to use the amenities! Also, note that these are all outdoor pools since there are no indoor water parks in Orlando as of yet! There are also no all inclusive Orlando hotels, so if you’re looking for that you might want to go elsewhere. Here are the best Orlando waterpark hotels.

Hilton Orlando

One of our favorite family water park hotels in Orlando is the Hilton Orlando. Located just 2 miles from Sea World, this family friendly Orlando hotel features a large pool, lazy river, slide and a toddler area with a small splash pad. Find a chair in a shady spot and watch your kids play in the pool. This hotel is lots of fun and in a Central location, great for exploring Orlando with kids.

The Grove Resort & Water Park

If you have a big family and are looking for an Orlando resort that is for large families, look no further than the Grove Resort! My daughter had her birthday here and we had a 3 bedroom suite. The prices are great and your room comes with waterpark wristbands. We had a 3 bedroom, 3 bath room suite with a living room and full kitchen. It was massive! This is the best Orlando hotel for large families and at a great price.

The water park here is great and features a large pool, lazy river, slides and even has the surf rider for an additional fee. There are also other pools outside of the water park you can use as well. If your kids are done playing in the water, head to the mini golf or large arcade for some indoor fun. Located just 20 minutes from Disney World, this Orlando water park resort is a great option for those visiting the parks.

If you’re looking for a family friendly Orlando hotel with a great pool, the Hilton Buena Vista Palace is it! This is a great Orlando hotel for families with kids of all ages. There’s a zero entry pool that’s perfect for toddlers, a lazy river and multiple pools to swim in. This hotel is located directly across the street form Disney Springs, where you can walk to for dinner in the evenings.

Gaylord Palms

This is one of the biggest water parks at an Orlando hotel! Gaylord Palms is a Marriott property, meaning you can use points to book a room which is what we do once a year for a staycation. They have a large water playground for the younger crowd, huge slides for the bigger kids and a not so lazy river that moves quickly with the current. There are also two pools to play in. This is a great option if you have kids of multiple ages since there is something for everyone. Only those with a wristband can enter and they do not sell day passes to this hotel, so it’s not as crowded as some of the other options. If you come here during holidays, the entire place is decked out for the season. This is one of our favorite family friendly hotels in Orlando near Disney!

Another great Marriott property just down the street from Disney World is the World Center Marriott. This hotel has a really cool water park area that’s great for older kids and adults. There’s also a lazy river and a small splash pad area for younger kids. Ask for a room where you can see Disney fireworks at night, we loved watching them from the balcony!
