KIDS FLY FREE ON FRONTIER AIRLINES
If you’re anything like me, you love taking quick 3-4 day trips with your child. If you missed out on getting the companion pass from Southwest, there is another way for your child to fly free! Sign up for Frontier Airline’s Discount Den membership ($59.99 for the year) and your child can fly free with the purchase of an adult ticket!
Now there are some restrictions to this deal, but overall it’s a great deal if you’re looking to save some money and explore the US this year with your child. Kids must be 14 and under at the time of booking and only certain dates are available for this promotion, more dates will be added as their schedule extends:
- February: 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27
- March: 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27
- April: 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30
- May: 1, 4, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 18, 21, 22, 29

- July: 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30
- August: 5, 6
Being a Discount Den member comes with additional perks as well. You get access to super low fares for yourself and up to 6 others on your reservation. Frontier Airline is known for very low fares, though be sure to read up on baggage and seat fees!
If you have an infant under 2, you can get a free seat for them on the plane and install their car seat for a much safer travel experience!
IS THIS DEAL WORTH IT?
Just remember, Frontier is a low-cost airline, so your won’t get amenities like you would on traditional carriers. There is no wi-fi on board, no power outlets, and their on-time arrivals and departures aren’t going to win awards any time soon. But you will save a ton of money that you can use for your trip instead! And chances are, your flight will be short enough that you won’t even notice the shortcomings. Will you be taking advantage of this deal with your kids? Happy travels!
